There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and write down the type of stone and name of the color you are interested in seeing in person.
NOTE: There are hundreds of colors of stones, so this is not a complete list. We will meet you at a stone slab supplier to choose your materials.
Granite is a natural igneous rock that contains quartz, mica, and feldspar. Granite comes in many colors and patterns with different minerals that make each slab unique. It is durable, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, and water-resistant when sealed properly.
Quartz is an engineered stone comprised of 90% granite and 10% epoxy. It comes in a variety of colors and patterns. It's extremely hard and durable. It's anti-microbial because it is non-porous and stain-and-crack resistant. It does not require sealing or resealing.
Marble is beautiful and typically shiny. Compared to granite, marble is softer and more porous, but it is still heat resistant. It will require regular sealing and extra care to not spill oils or wines as it is more prone to staining.
Quartzite is similar to granite and is typically more expensive to fabricate. Like granite, quartzite is highly durable (and a little bit stronger), stain/heat resistant, and needs to be sealed every 3-5 years.
