One of the fun parts about custom fabrication of countertops, is you get to choose your edge treatment! The "Eased" edge is already included in the price of your countertops, so please ask your project manager for costs per linear foot on any other edge treatments listed above. Don't see one you like? Countertop Finishes

Polished: This is the most common type of countertop finish. It is smooth, shiny, and even a bit glossy. It does well with sealers to help repel water and withstand stains.
Leathered: A beautiful finish that highlights the natural veins and minerals in the granite. It does have a sheen to it, but is not glossy like the polished finish. The pores of the stone are closed, which helps hide water spots, fingerprints, and smudges, but it is more prone to etching and staining.
Honed: Opposite of the polished finish, honed finishes are matte and non-reflective. They are smooth (unlike leathered) and are more prone to staining. You must seal a honed finish stone much more frequently than a polished one.
Please Note: Slabs will come polished unless otherwise requested. There is an extra cost associated with the leather and hone finishes.
